We got asked a lot of questions! Below are a few common questions we have been asked over the years.

1. What is included in the price?

We understand that there is no client or home exactly the same. We offer inclusions tailored to suit your budget and taste. We will include everything you need and anything you want, just ask!

We do believe in a ‘turnkey’ approach. That is, when you move in you do not have more work to do, that is the last thing we want. We will complete landscaping, finishes and fences. We will include your clothesline, blinds, letterbox and doorbell! All the items the others leave out. We are flexible and can leave items out if it suits you too.

Whether you are after a basic home for investment or simple living up to a luxury masterpiece we can cater our solution to your needs.

2. We don’t want to go with a large project home builder because we have heard they won’t give us updates, let us walk through, and help us with our questions?

This is all true! At Greenpark Homes you will get the personal attention of one of the Directors of the company. We like to have control of our projects and would not hand over a home to you that we wouldn’t live in. One of our Directors will be involved with your home on a daily basis. Many other builders cannot offer this service.

3. What about site costs? I’ve heard of large project home builders adding thousands of dollars for site costs?

This is also true! At Greenpark Homes we will conduct site studies, geotechnical reports and soil testing to ensure that when we give you a Firm Lump Sum Price, it won’t change and we have include the correct geotechnical and structural conditions.

4. How quickly can you build my home?

Every build is different. We are offering a personal service and our Directors will go out of their way to ensure your home is completed as quickly as possible. You are not just a number but a valued client. Your recommendation of us to your family and friends is our ultimate goal and based on this your build will not sit stagnant for months on end. We have as much desire to complete the building and get you moved in as you do!

5. Do you have a Display Home?

Depending on the timing we may have a display home in your area. Just ask.

6. Can you knock down and rebuild?

Yes. We are more than happy to give you a quotation to knock down your old home and rebuild a new Greenpark Home.

7. Can I change my mind on the design?

It’s your house! You will have plenty of time to modify the design before construction starts. If the design changes once construction has started we will do our best to accommodate the changes as cheaply and efficiently as possible. If this cannot be done we will suggest alternative to meet you needs.

8. Will I be locked in to certain suppliers for finishes like other builders?

No. We believe that it is your home and you should be able to select whatever you want, from where you want. We have transported special bricks from Queensland, imported doors from Spain and special silver Travertine from Italy! These are generally against the norm and we have a large range of specialist suppliers in NSW for all your needs. However if you select tiles, or bricks or a kitchen from someone we don’t know that’s fine! We are happy for you to select what you want, from where you want it.

9. Will I have to deal with Council?

We have been doing this for over 25 years. We understand Councils and their requirements. We wouldn’t ask you for building advice! And we don’t expect you to deal with Council. This will all be taken care of by Greenpark Homes.

10. Can you include features such as bulkheads, tv nooks, home theatre or swimming pool?

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!  We have in the past and will in the future. Feel free to ask us today about what you have in mind and it can be included as part of the building contract.
